Job summary

FLSmidth is seeking an experienced engineer to provide advanced onsite technical support for PCV pumps, cyclones and valves in Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East & South Asia region. You will oversee installation, maintenance and repair on site, ensure safety compliance and performance, and support commissioning and troubleshooting to meet design specs.

Proficiency in other languages will be advantageous.
Knowledge of selection, sizing, and operating parameters.

Responsibilities

Oversee the installation, maintenance, and rebuild of PC&V equipment on site.
Assist with commissioning of equipment to ensure performance meets design specs and safety standards.
Performs monitoring and testing of equipment.
Onsite troubleshooting and addressing maintenance problems to secure correct operation and performance of PCV equipment.
Ensure aftermarket business is delivered on time and customer is satisfied with performance.
Monitor PCV inventory and coordinate with customers and stocking centers to maintain correct levels.
Record and analyze equipment performance and wear rates.
Maintain site installation database for FLSmidth and competitor equipment.
Maintain strong relationships with customers and site personnel.
Collaborate with regional sales and service teams to promote products/services in the region.
