The role emphasizes developing risk mitigation strategies, complying with credit policies and Basel regulatory requirements, and presenting analysis to the credit committee as part of a robust risk management team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in credit analysis or risk management.
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and cash flow.
• Knowledge of credit scoring, risk metrics and Basel guidelines.
• Proficiency with Excel for data analysis and modeling.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and data to assess creditworthiness.
• Develop and recommend credit limits, terms, and conditions.
• Monitor credit quality of the loan portfolio and spot early risks.
• Prepare credit analysis reports and present to the credit committee.
• Enforce credit policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develop statistical models to predict default probabilities and risk exposure.
• Collaborate with relationship managers to tailor credit solutions.
• Regularly review existing facilities and covenants.
• Keep updated on industry trends in credit risk management.
