Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of drilling engineering experience, preferably onshore.
• Proven experience with directional drilling and well control procedures.
• Familiarity with drilling software and data acquisition systems.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices in oil and gas.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design drilling programs, including wellbore trajectory, casing design, and mud programs.
• Supervise drilling operations on-site or remotely, ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
• Manage drilling equipment and services, coordinating with vendors and contractors.
• Perform daily drilling performance analysis and implement adjustments to optimize operations.
• Conduct pre-job safety meetings and ensure compliance with all HSE policies.
• Troubleshoot drilling problems and develop solutions to mitigate risks and delays.
