You will design lessons, update materials, provide timely feedback, and mentor learners in physics topics from mechanics to modern physics.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or PhD in Physics required.
• Minimum 3 years teaching physics at university or advanced high school level.
• Experience teaching online using Moodle/Blackboard/Zoom.

About the Role

Our client, an innovative online academy preparing students for university entrance exams, is seeking a dynamic Online Physics Instructor.

This position is based remotely, allowing you to deliver high-quality physics education to students across South Africa and beyond, from the comfort of your home in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape or elsewhere.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive online lectures on various physics topics, including mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and modern physics.
• Develop and update course materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and supplementary resources.
• Create and administer online quizzes, assignments, and exams to assess student understanding and progress.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work and performance.
• Offer one-on-one online tutoring sessions to address individual student questions and challenges.
• Facilitate online discussions and encourage active student participation.
• Stay current with advancements in physics and modern pedagogical techniques for online learning.

Requirements

• A Master's degree or PhD in Physics is required.
