Job summary

Placements24 is partnering with a renowned pharmaceutical company in Cape Town to recruit an experienced Clinical Research Associate (CRA) who will oversee site monitoring, data management, and patient safety across oncology trials.

You will conduct site visits, ensure GCP/ICH compliance, coordinate with investigators and sponsors, and train site staff while traveling within the region; a life-science background and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, nursing, or related field.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years as a Clinical Research Associate, oncology trials preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements for clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits in line with GCP and study protocols.
• Ensure accurate collection, review, and management of data from study sites.
• Verify compliance with study protocols, regulatory requirements, and guidelines.
• Coordinate communication between study sites, investigators, and sponsor.
• Identify, assess, and resolve issues affecting study conduct or data integrity.
• Train site personnel on study procedures and protocols.
• Prepare monitoring reports and maintain study documentation.
• Contribute to development and review of study documents such as protocols and CRFs.
