Job summary

Dixie Recruitment is seeking a technically minded Project Manager to oversee shop fitting projects from planning through to on-site execution. You will interpret technical drawings, coordinate on-site teams and contractors, and manage customers and project requirements in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong organizational and administrative skills, travel to sites, and flexibility to work weekends or irregular hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Matric and relevant tertiary qualification.
• Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong spatial awareness and three-dimensional thinking.
• Good computer literacy and administrative skills.
• Excellent people management and customer relationship skills.
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Willing and able to travel for projects, including overnight stays.
• Flexible to work weekends and abnormal hours.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage projects from inception to completion.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure specifications are met.
• Coordinate on-site teams, contractors and project activities.
• Monitor progress, timelines and operational requirements.
• Maintain relationships with customers throughout the project.
• Conduct site and customer visits as required.
• Ensure effective communication between customers, internal teams and on-site staff.
• Manage project administration, documentation and reporting.
• Identify and resolve on-site challenges.
• Ensure projects are completed efficiently and to standard.
