You will guide daily operations, perform hands-on cleaning tasks, ensure schedules are met, and manage supplies. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in cleaning or sanitation and strong leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in cleaning or sanitation with a lead/supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies and equipment.
• Understanding of health and safety principles related to cleaning.
• Good attention to detail and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily sanitation team activities in Kimberley, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.
• Perform cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and sanitizing various areas.
• Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure quality of cleaning work and adherence to schedules.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting needs for replenishment.
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of cleaning chemicals and waste.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment for the sanitation team.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to the relevant manager promptly.
• Assist in implementing and enforcing sanitation policies and procedures.
