Job summary

Placements24 is hiring a dynamic Leisure Centre Manager to oversee operations at the Bloemfontein facility on-site. You will lead staff, drive member engagement, manage programs, and safeguard service standards while optimizing budget performance.

You will develop and promote recreational activities, handle membership sales and renewals, ensure health and safety compliance, and foster a welcoming community environment for all visitors and residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in leisure centre management or related role.
• Proven leadership, program development, and budget management experience.
• Strong customer service focus and community engagement.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the leisure centre, ensuring a safe, clean, welcoming environment.
• Lead, recruit, train, and supervise centre staff and instructors.
• Develop and promote diverse recreational programs to meet community needs.
• Manage membership sales, renewals, and CRM to foster retention and growth.
• Oversee budget, control expenses, and identify revenue opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
