Job summary

The role requires Red seal trade test or NQF qualifications with lift mechanic exposure, solid IT skills, and good communication.

Qualifications

• Red seal trade test certificate with lift mechanic exposure.
• NQF level 4 certification with an apprenticeship (min 4 years).
• Electrical/Mechanical Engineer Diploma/Degree with shadowing a lift mechanic.
• NQF level 5 certification with shadowing a lift mechanic.
• Good communication skills with basic IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site elevator and escalator maintenance service.
• Ensure quality service, equipment safety and performance.
• Promote proactive on-site communication with customers and end-users.
• Submit time sheets based on execution.
• Maintain relationships with customers and on-site contact persons.
• Manage site environment during service operations.
• Identify site risks and communicate promptly.
