Scatec in North West, South Africa, is hiring a Site Document Controller to ensure on-site documentation is current, approved, and accessible for construction teams. You will manage the Site Master Document List, coordinate with contractors, and support handover with accurate as-built records.

You will train site staff on the document management system, monitor workflow, and provide status updates to management.

Formación

• Higher education and relevant experience, with at least two years of document-control experience, preferably on EPC or construction projects using an electronic document management system.
• Sound understanding of the full project document life cycle and workflows.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements for document management and the ability to apply consistent standards.
• Ability to train stakeholders on document management systems, processes, and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Control the Site Master Document List (SMDL), including dates, status tracking, and reporting.
• Receive, check, upload, distribute, and maintain external documents and drawings per approved processes.
• Manage site correspondence and project email inputs/outputs; ensure records are complete and accessible.
• Act as contractor interface for document submissions and related trainings.
• Ensure compliance with templates, naming conventions, and workflow requirements.
• Coordinate with Main Office Document Control team and transition to as-built records.
