Job summary

Opaa! Food Management is seeking flexible kitchen staff to support serving lines, food prep, and related duties on an as-needed basis. The role emphasizes food safety, temperature control, and efficient service in a cafeteria setting.

You'll assist with setup, batch cooking, inventory, and equipment operation while maintaining clean work areas. This position offers varied shifts and opportunities to contribute to high-quality meal service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred; or up to one month related experience, training or equivalent.
• Ability to read simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines daily and ensure food is held at the required temperature.
• Assist in food preparation per menu and Opaa! recipes; plan and prep for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked; apply FIFO and maintain inventory.
• Batch cook, present foods appealingly, and maintain quality presentation and hospitality.
