Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in oil and gas production engineering.
• Proven experience with artificial lift systems and production optimization techniques.
• Strong understanding of production facilities and processes.
• Proficiency in production data analysis software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in both remote and on-site environments.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze well and facility production data to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Develop and implement strategies for artificial lift system optimization (e.g., ESPs, rod pumps, gas lift).
• Conduct performance reviews of production equipment and recommend maintenance or upgrades.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to restore and enhance output.
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers on production forecasts and decline curve analysis.
• Evaluate and recommend opportunities for facility debottlenecking and efficiency improvements.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Ensure production operations adhere to safety and environmental standards.
