Job summary

The Recruitment Council, on behalf of our client, a leading financial services provider and member of a major financial group, seeks an Offshore Specialist to join their Western Cape team. You will support the international distribution strategy, maintain and train a portfolio of international intermediaries, and drive growth across offshore investment structures.

Requirements include a relevant financial or investment qualification, 5+ years in financial services (distribution is a plus),

Qualifications

• A relevant financial or investment tertiary qualification.
• Minimum 5 years in the financial services industry (distribution preferred).
• Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
• Technical knowledge of retail investment products.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle; willingness to travel.
• CFP credential and established relationships are a plus.
• Experience in roles supporting intermediary practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth by seizing new business opportunities while maintaining relationships.
• Implement an intermediary support model to align divisions and partners.
• Provide guidance on offshore investing, funds, and services.
• Lead training and development to grow intermediary practices.
• Drive offshore investment campaigns and projects.
• Engage stakeholders to improve product development, operations, and client service.
• Ensure strong service levels with distribution partners.
• Lead by example and support the broader team.
