Job summary

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd is seeking an Officer Quantity Surveying to support the finance function at Matla Power Station, Kriel. The role focuses on cost control, contract management and performance measurement across the project lifecycle.

Minimum qualification is a National Diploma in Building/Construction with 3 years of relevant experience. The position requires accuracy, integrity and strong analytical skills to handle cost and scheduling tasks.

Qualifications

• 3 years in Quantity surveying/cost engineering/cost management/engineering and construction contracts in the built environment.
• Experience with cost estimates and contract management is desirable.
• Understanding of project planning and scheduling is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the provision of quantity surveying services throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist with measurement of consultants and contractors performance (quality and cost).
• Assist with compiling cost estimates for capital investment projects.
• Assist in the preparation of enquiry documentation.
• Assist with development and maintenance of a cost database.
• Comply with Eskom SHERQ requirements.
