Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor – Mechanical Maintenance for Secunda, Mpumalanga. This permanent role requires a qualified professional with strong experience in mechanical maintenance contracts and cost control.

You will oversee cost estimating, contract administration, valuations and variations, and manage commercial performance while liaising with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with construction standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' quantity surveying experience on mechanical maintenance contracts.
• Experience with mechanical maintenance works.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimating, contract administration, valuations, variations and cost control.
• Sound understanding of construction contracts and commercial management.

Quantity Surveyor – Mechanical Maintenance

Location: Secunda, Mpumalanga

A leading provider of integrated SMEIPP construction solutions is seeking a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor – Mechanical Maintenance to join their team in Secunda.

The successful candidate will have strong quantity surveying experience within mechanical maintenance environments, with a solid understanding of cost control, contract administration and commercial management.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years' quantity surveying experience on mechanical maintenance contracts
• Experience with mechanical maintenance works
• Strong knowledge of cost estimating, contract administration, valuations, variations and cost control
• Sound understanding of construction contracts and commercial management
• Experience with labour broker invoicing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and quantity surveying software
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
