Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant – CA(SA).
• Completed SAICA articles.
• Strong financial modelling, analytical and commercial capabilities.
• Exposure to strategic projects, business improvement or executive-level reporting.
• One to three years of post-articles experience would be advantageous.
• Exposure to mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, valuations or transaction advisory would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the CEO in evaluating and executing strategic projects and business initiatives.

A dynamic organisation is seeking a commercially minded Chartered Accountant to work closely with the CEO on strategic initiatives, operational improvement projects and new business opportunities.

This is not a traditional Executive Assistant or accounting role. It offers a CA(SA) the opportunity to move beyond technical finance and gain hands-on exposure to business strategy, operations, mergers and acquisitions, project execution and executive-level decision-making.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted strategic partner to the CEO, helping to assess opportunities, translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and drive key projects across the group.

Key Responsibilities
