Job summary

Sasso Consulting (Pty) Ltd seeks experienced Ethical Hackers to perform authorised penetration tests across complex enterprise environments, including networks, apps, cloud and identity systems. You will identify exploitable vulnerabilities, validate findings and report with remediation recommendations.

The role requires hands-on testing expertise, adherence to engagement rules, and clear communication of risk to technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

3–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in penetration testing, ethical hacking, offensive security.
Proven practical experience conducting authorised penetration tests against enterprise systems.
Strong understanding of penetration testing methodologies and offensive security techniques.
Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
Experience with cloud penetration testing would be advantageous.
Ability to explain vulnerability severity, exploitability and business impact.

Responsibilities

Plan and conduct authorised penetration testing assessments across enterprise IT environments.
Perform internal and external network penetration testing.
Identify, validate and safely demonstrate exploitable security vulnerabilities.
Prepare comprehensive penetration testing reports with findings and remediation suggestions.
Collaborate with IT teams to address identified weaknesses and verify remediation.
