Job summary

Nurture Health in Hermanus, Western Cape, is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. Reporting to the Therapy Manager, you will help patients relearn or adapt daily activities to improve independence, participation, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Registered with HPCSA Board for Occupational Therapy in Independent Practice.
• Experience in physical rehabilitation and holistic functional assessment.
• Knowledge of Health Professions Act and OT guidelines; professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' functional participation and develop individualized OT treatment plans.
• Deliver ADL retraining, neuro/cognitive rehabilitation, upper limb rehabilitation, splinting, seating, and device prescriptions.
• Conduct home and workplace assessments and educate caregivers; collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and billing records.
