Job summary

Better Rehab in Australia is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Hobart team. You will conduct functional assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions to adults, fostering independence and safe home living.

We offer visa sponsorship, relocation support including a $5,000 relocation bonus, and guidance through the registration checks. You should hold OT qualifications with AHPRA registration, and have a police check and Working with Children Check ready.

Qualifications

• You have relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
• A minimum of 2 years clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• AHPRA registration is required.
• Police Check and Working with Children Check required; willingness to obtain NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Responsibilities

• Conducting functional assessments and documenting client needs in detailed reports.
• Communicating identified needs with clients, families, and service providers, and coordinating referrals to health professionals or specialists.
• Prescribing suitable equipment and recommending home modifications to support client independence and safety.
