Job summary

Placements24 in Port Elizabeth is seeking a warm, energetic Nurturing Toddler Educator to join our early learning center. You will create a safe, stimulating environment for toddlers aged 1-3 and plan engaging activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional and physical development.

The ideal candidate holds an ECD qualification with experience with toddlers, and demonstrates patience, empathy, and excellent communication with parents.

Qualifications

You will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Key Responsibilities

• Create a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for toddlers.
• Develop and implement creative daily activities that support toddlers' developmental milestones.

• Build positive and supportive relationships with parents, communicating daily about their child's experiences.
• Ensure adherence to strict hygiene, health, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Qualification in Early Childhood Development (ECD) or equivalent.
• Experience working specifically with toddlers (1-3 years old) is highly desirable.
• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing disposition.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
