Mediclinic Southern Africa is seeking an experienced Nursing Unit Manager to lead safe, high‑quality patient care at our Stellenbosch facility. You will support the Nursing Manager, coordinate resources, and drive clinical risk management.

The role prioritizes patient experience, staff engagement, and alignment with accreditation standards, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and governance within a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Essential education: Degree/diploma in nursing and appropriate leadership/management qualification.

Responsabilités

• Support the Nursing Manager to achieve quality patient care in line with hospital goals.
• Manage patient risks to achieve patient safety in line with clinical outcomes.
• Ensure a positive patient experience in line with corporate benchmarks.
• Ensure optimal utilisation of a competent and engaged workforce and other resources.
• Lead and manage direct reports.
• Establish and manage key stakeholder relationships to achieve integrated patient care and positive clinical outcomes.
