Job summary

Clicks Group in Cape Town seeks a Registered Nurse Practitioner to lead a commercially viable clinic, delivering a broad range of nursing services in line with SAPS/Nursing Council standards. You will promote services to customers and ensure high standards of patient care.

You will manage clinic administration, stock, and reporting while building professional networks and coordinating health days. A4-year degree or Diploma and SANC registration are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years practical experience in nursing across a broad range of disciplines.
• Registered Nursing Practitioner with SANC and a 3-year diploma or 4-year degree are essential.
• Experience in community health, primary health or midwifery is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Establish and grow a loyal client base through promotion of clinic services and high standards of patient care.
• Deliver a wide range of clinic services, including lifestyle screenings, well baby clinics, immunisations, phlebotomy and primary health care.
• Counsel and advise patients on health information, weight management and refer to Pharmacists as appropriate.
• Ensure patient information is secure and payments are received for all services rendered.
• Ensure efficient clinic operations: admin, locum bookings, and timely financial/stock reporting.
• Monitor stock and cold chain, and enforce safety measures for medical products.
• Build health professional networks to enhance service offerings and plan Health Days or ad hoc projects.
• Manage adverse events and emergencies professionally and effectively.
