Job summary

PBT Group is seeking experienced Node.js Developers to join a high-performing engineering team delivering innovative payment solutions. You will design, develop and maintain backend services and secure, scalable payment platforms in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires Node.js expertise with Java exposure, and the initial engagement is a 6-month contract with potential for permanency based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years' backend software development experience.
• Experience with Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript stack.
• Proven experience building scalable APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with secure, high-volume transaction processing.
• Experience with Agile software development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Develop secure, high-performance APIs and microservices.
• Build and enhance payment processing functionality and system integrations.
• Produce clean, maintainable and well-tested code aligned to engineering standards.
• Participate in solution design, code reviews and CI/CD practices.
• Support production deployments and resolve issues in production.
