Job summary

PBT Group is seeking experienced Node.js Developers to join a high-performing engineering team delivering innovative payment solutions in a fast-paced enterprise environment. The role focuses on designing, developing and maintaining backend services and APIs, with emphasis on secure, scalable payments processing.

Ideal candidates have Node.js expertise and exposure to Java, and are comfortable working in Agile teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend software development experience.
• Strong commercial experience with Node.js.
• Exposure to Java development.
• Experience in Agile software development environments.
• Experience building scalable, enterprise-grade applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Develop secure, high-performance APIs and microservices.
• Build and enhance payment processing functionality and system integrations.
• Produce clean, maintainable and well-tested code aligned to engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Solution Architects.
