Placements24 seeks a Data Scientist specialized in NLP to join our client in Rustenburg, North West. You will develop and deploy NLP models to derive insights from text data, collaborating with data scientists and engineers to deliver production-ready solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's or PhD in a related field, is proficient in Python and NLP libraries (NLTK, spaCy, Transformers), and has experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch for NLP tasks.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in CS, Computational Linguistics, or Data Science.
• Proven experience in NLP and applying ML to text data.
• Proficiency in Python and NLP libraries (NLTK, spaCy, Transformers).
• Strong ML algorithms understanding and statistical modeling.
• Experience with deep learning for NLP (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work in team and independently.
