Placements24 is seeking a skilled NLP Specialist to join its AI team in Port Elizabeth. You will develop and refine NLP systems that understand, interpret, and generate human language, spanning sentiment analysis, text summarization, and chatbots.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying NLP models.
• Proficiency in Python and NLP libraries (NLTK, spaCy, Transformers).
• Strong understanding of language modeling, deep learning, and statistical NLP techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement NLP models for text classification, NER, and MT.
• Process and analyze large volumes of text data to extract insights.
• Build and fine-tune pre-trained language models (e.g., BERT, GPT) for applications.
• Design conversational AI agents and chatbots.
• Evaluate and improve NLP system performance with metrics.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate NLP solutions into products.
