Job summary

Pedros is seeking a Nightshift Manager to oversee all night shift operations in the Distribution Centre, including warehouse, poultry picking, marinade blending, lug wash, vehicle pre-cooling, loading and dispatch.

The candidate will ensure 03:00 routes are accurately dispatched on schedule, compliant with food safety, hygiene, cold chain and SOPs while leading a diverse team and maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Warehouse/Distribution Centre/Nightshift Management role.
• Experience managing multiple operational functions in fast-paced distribution or FMCG environments.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control, picking, loading and dispatch processes.
• Experience managing temperature-controlled products and maintaining cold-chain compliance.
• Understanding of FIFO/FEFO principles and stock rotation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all night shift operations across the warehouse, poultry, marinade blending, lug wash and dispatch functions.
• Conduct daily roll calls, manage attendance and ensure all employees report for duty on time and in full uniform.
• Conduct pre-shift and end-of-shift site inspections to ensure operational readiness, housekeeping and site security.
• Ensure SOPs are consistently adhered to across all night shift departments.
• Oversee warehouse and poultry picking activities, ensuring stock is picked accurately and FIFO/FEFO.
