Job summary

Hire Feed is seeking a care assistant to provide the highest level of care to residents during the night shift. An emphasis on dignity, individuality, and respectful interaction is essential, as well as excellent communication and the ability to work as part of a team.

You will monitor residents overnight, assist with personal care and continence, support meals, and ensure the home and equipment are safe, clean and tidy at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience in caring for older people is preferred but not essential; training provided.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal care and continence needs.
• Closely monitoring residents during the night and undertaking regular checks.
• Supporting residents with eating and drinking.
• Ensuring the home and equipment is safe, clean and tidy at all times.
• Completing accurate care records and reporting changes to the person in charge.
