Job summary

Pedros in Gauteng is opening a brand-new store and seeks passionate, energetic individuals to join a launch team. You will prepare and grill menu items to our quality standards, maintaining speed, consistency, and presentation.

You will monitor temperatures, portions, hygiene, and safety, assist with stock, support operations during peak periods, and work shifts including weekends. Previous kitchen experience and knowledge of food safety are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or grilling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, and grill chicken and other menu items according to approved recipes.
• Monitor cooking temperatures, timing, and portion control.

• Conduct daily equipment checks and report faults.
• Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards.
• Manage stock rotation (FIFO) and minimise waste.
• Clean grills, workstations, and utensils regularly.
• Assist with stock counts and ingredient preparation.
• Support kitchen operations during peak periods.
• Comply with health, safety, and company policies.
