Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Network & Infrastructure Security Analyst (AI Training) to contribute hands-on security expertise for AI-driven systems.

This remote hourly contract role focuses on analyzing security scenarios, validating training datasets, and reporting actionable insights to reduce risk. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in network, infrastructure, or endpoint security, with experience across firewalls, EDR, IAM, SIEMs, and email security.

Formación

• 2+ years hands-on experience in network, infrastructure, or endpoint security roles.
• Strong familiarity with firewalls, EDR platforms, email security, IAM, SIEMs, and enterprise security tooling.
• Understanding of how real organizations deploy and maintain security controls.
• Ability to explain complex security issues clearly in business terms.

Responsabilidades

Your knowledge of how enterprise networks fail, how attacks unfold, and how security controls succeed or break down will directly shape how AI understands and reasons about cybersecurity - work that matters at a global scale.

What You'll Do

• Analyze network, endpoint, and email security scenarios across modern enterprise environments
• Review firewall, EDR, and infrastructure security cases to determine root causes and failure points
• Classify incidents, misconfigurations, and control failures based on realistic operational data
• Create, label, and validate security training and evaluation datasets used to improve AI systems
• Clearly articulate security issues, attack paths, and business impact in structured formats
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in network, infrastructure, or endpoint security roles
• Solid familiarity with firewalls, EDR platforms, email security, IAM, SIEMs, and enterprise security tooling
• Strong understanding of how real organizations deploy, operate, and maintain security controls
• Ability to explain complex security issues clearly - both technically and in terms of business impact
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working through ambiguous scenarios

Nice to Have

• Experience with threat hunting, incident response, or red/blue team operations
• Familiarity with common attack frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK
• Background in cloud infrastructure security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Prior experience with AI, data labeling, or security research
