Job summary

Pollock and Associates in Boksburg is seeking a hands-on Network Administrator to own the ICT infrastructure, ensuring network reliability, server maintenance and backups while delivering first-line end-user support.

You will handle disaster recovery planning and testing, hardware troubleshooting and contribute to strategic IT projects, maintaining a well-run network across the business.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of network configuration, hardware troubleshooting and server management.
• Expertise in backup software, data restoration testing and disaster recovery execution.
• Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g. Topdesk).
• Sound understanding of Windows updates, database maintenance and system contingency planning.
• Excellent interpersonal and training skills, with the ability to guide end-users confidently.
• Strong organisational skills and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.
