Job summary

Successfactors is seeking a Fund Accounting Specialist for a 12-month contract in Cape Town. You will oversee daily NAV calculations across a range of funds, ensuring accuracy of income accruals, cash and scrip reconciliations, and fee allocations.

You will perform NAV validation, maintain control standards, and contribute to timely NAV dissemination. A strong accounting focus and attention to detail are essential, with 1–2 years in Fund Accounting advantageous.

Qualifications

• BSc or BComm, with mathematics, statistics or accounting.
• Recent graduates welcome; 1–2 years in Fund Accounting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and review daily NAVs for Unit Trusts, Pooled Products, Mutual funds and Bermuda funds.
• Perform NAV verification and validation checks for accuracy and timely market dissemination.
• Understand valuation of local and offshore securities, fixed income and complex assets.
• Allocate fund and class expenses, including performance fees.
• Manage corporate actions impact on NAV and resolve reconciliation breaks and ad hoc issues.
