Job summary

3L Consulting (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Transport Manager to lead national transport and fleet operations from Gauteng, with travel to KwaZulu-Natal as required. Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 is essential.
• A diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management or Operations Management is advantageous.
• Minimum 5 to 10 years’ experience in transport, logistics or fleet operations.
• Experience managing or coordinating drivers, controllers or transport teams is highly advantageous.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
• Knowledge of transport regulations, road safety standards and fleet compliance requirements.
• Experience with vehicle tracking systems and ERP/transport management platforms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily management of transport and fleet operations.
• Schedule and coordinate vehicles, drivers and delivery routes.
• Monitor daily transport activity and address delays or service risks.
• Support senior transport management with day-to-day operational execution.
• Manage a national transport team including Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal drivers and controllers.
• Maintain accurate transport documentation, reports and operational records.
• Support cost-control initiatives across transport, fleet usage and planning.
