Job summary

Xrecruiter is seeking an experienced National Sales Manager to lead a multi-branch, dealer-led sales environment across Johannesburg, Bloemfontein, Durban, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Mbombela. The role drives national sales strategy, revenue and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have 8–10+ years of senior sales leadership, proven experience with national/regional teams, key account management, and a willingness to travel extensively across Southern Africa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or related field.
• 8–10+ years' sales experience with significant senior sales leadership experience.
• Proven experience managing national/regional sales teams within a branch-led or dealer environment.
• Strong track record of delivering sales and revenue targets.
• Experience across Southern African/African markets advantageous.
• Willingness to travel extensively nationally and into relevant African markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the national sales strategy and business plan.
• Lead, recruit, coach and develop a nationwide sales team, driving accountability and performance.
• Drive revenue, profitability, lead generation and client-base growth.
• Manage key accounts, dealers, distributors and commercial negotiations.
• Identify new business, market and channel opportunities across South Africa and Africa.
• Drive sales forecasting, budgeting, reporting and performance analysis.
• Conduct market, competitor and customer analysis and provide commercial insights to management.
• Ensure effective collaboration between Sales, Operations and Marketing, including promotional activities and sales campaigns.
• Develop and implement go-to-market, channel and distributor strategies.
• Present sales performance, forecasts and strategic recommendations to senior management and the Board.
