Job summary

Growtharch is seeking a Host Employer Partnerships Officer to secure and manage host employers for our internship programme. You will vet, onboard and monitor employer performance to ensure interns are placed with compliant, credible hosts.

You will liaise with provincial coordinators, prepare contracts, track placement numbers and report on outcomes to funders and audits. A relevant degree and 3+ years in related roles are expected.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or degree in Business Management, HR, Monitoring & Evaluation, Public Administration or related field.
• 3+ years in employer engagement, partnerships or skills development programs.
• Experience securing and managing host employers for internships or work-integrated learning.
• Experience with contracts and compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing host employers nationwide and building a database of placements and capacity.
• Vetting employers for registration, tax compliance, BBBEE status and safety.
• Onboarding employers with programme requirements, logbooks and mentor duties.
• Manage host employer contracts and maintain POPIA-compliant files.
• Monitor and evaluate employer performance, gather feedback, and report findings.
• Coordinate with provincial teams and represent the programme at relevant forums.
