Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Nanny and Child Development Specialist for a long-term, full-time role in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment, supporting infants and toddlers through development-focused activities and routines.

You will manage daily schedules, communicate with parents, coordinate meals and rest periods, and maintain health records. First Aid and CPR certification, solid childcare references, and a resident or willingness

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a nanny or early childhood educator with verifiable references.
• Strong understanding of child development principles for infants and toddlers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing disposition.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Resident of or willing to relocate to Tembisa, Gauteng.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging, educational, and age-appropriate daily activities.
• Ensure the physical safety and emotional well-being of the children.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks.
• Assist with daily routines (dressing, bathing, napping).
• Manage children's schedules (appointments, playdates, activities).
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding progress and concerns.
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and maintain health records.
• Foster positive social skills and emotional development.
