Publicis Groupe Africa invites applications for Le Cubs 2027, a flagship 12-month Multimedia Designer Intern program. Based in Johannesburg, you will work with our studio to deliver social-first, platform-neutral design across multiple campaigns and brands.

The role focuses on craft-led design, learning across major social platforms, and creating human-centred digital experiences. You will collaborate with senior designers and across teams in SA to grow your skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Digital Design or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
• Basic understanding of graphic design, motion graphics, and digital content.
• Portfolio demonstrating creative work (academic, personal or freelance).
• Interest in social media, digital trends and SA pop culture.
• Exposure to 3D animation or production is advantageous but not required.
• No prior agency experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design social media and digitally led creative content with animation and clear output formats.
• Work methodically according to briefs and brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to develop concepts from idea to execution.
• Create presentation decks to showcase work and collect/archive assets.
• Track time spent on briefs and manage multiple projects.
