Job summary

Tsebo Solutions Group is seeking a skilled Building and Facilities Maintenance technician to perform general building maintenance, electrical and plumbing repairs, and refurbishment projects across hospitality facilities. The role requires hands-on carpentry, tiling, painting, drywall, ceiling, and finishing work, plus upkeep of fixtures, doors, and windows.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in building or property maintenance, a Grade 12, and ideally a trade qualification.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in building, facilities, hospitality, or property maintenance.
• Grade 12 (Matric) is required; trade-related qualification is advantageous.

Building and Facilities Maintenance

• Perform general building maintenance and repair work.

Preventative Maintenance

• Conduct routine inspections of accommodation units and facility areas.
• Identify and report maintenance risks, defects, and required repairs.
• Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are completed timeously.

Guest and Customer

• Support Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and operational teams.
• Deliver professional, customer-focused service at all times.
• Minimize disruption to guests during maintenance activities.

Maintenance Administration

• Complete maintenance records and job-related documentation accurately.
• Report completed work, materials used, and outstanding maintenance requirements.
• Adhere to company procedures, safety standards, and reporting requirements.

Health, Safety and Compliance

• Operate hand and power tools safely and responsibly.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and hazard-free.
