Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a managerial role.
• Proficient in using Syspro and DMS for mould maintenance.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities of the mould store facilities and technicians.
• Implement and manage KPIs for performance tracking.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coach and develop a high-performing mould store team.
• Communicate the mould store mechanisms and team roles across the organisation.
• Adhere to budgets and plans to maximise profitability.
• Assist other departments in achieving maximum performance.
• Ensure compliance with legal/statutory regulations and applicable certifications such as BRC.
• Organise stock items, tools, inserts and spares.
• Oversee mould store projects to meet target dates cost-effectively.
• Coach and develop a high-performing mould store team.
• Maintain liaison with other departments, customers, suppliers and service providers.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage the running and plan activities of the mould store facilities and mould store technicians, ensuring the mould store is a safe environment in line with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Overall stock control and management of the mould store for the organisation, including the development, performance and maintenance of the mould store and stock control to produce a smooth and efficient system and delivery solution, maximizing performance & profitability against pre‑agreed targets and control.
• Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
• Ensure the team understands the mechanism of the mould store and their role within the organisation and the duties of your team.
• Adhere to budgets and plans to maximise profitability.
• Assist other departments in achieving maximum performance.
• Perform all duties in compliance with related legal/statutory regulations, professional duties, responsibilities, and obligations, including applicable certifications such as BRC.
• Ensure all stock items, tool inserts and spares are organised.
• Oversee all work through the mould store efficiently and cost effectively, ensuring that all target dates for moulds are met.
• Manage, coach, and develop a high‑performing mould store team that meets agreed objectives, delivers best practice results, added value, and continuous improvements.
• Maintain liaison and communication with other departments, customers, suppliers, and other service providers.

Requirements

• +3 years' experience in a managerial role.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to use software: Syspro, DMS (Mould maintenance and NCR program).
