A well-established vehicle dealership based in East London is looking for an experienced and qualified Mechanic/ Technician to join their team based in East London, Eastern Cape.

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 Matric Certificate
  • Trade Test Certificate- with petrol/ diesel
  • A minimum of 1-3 years working experience with strong knowledge of diagnostics and general mechanical repairs
  • Must be energetic, reliable, and able to work independently
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:
  • Diagnose and repair diesel and petrol engines on commercial and light vehicles
  • Perform routine maintenance services and inspections
  • Fault finding using diagnostic equipment
  • Brake, clutch, suspension, and engine repairs
  • Test drive vehicles to verify repairs
  • Complete job cards and service reports accurately
  • Ensure workshop tools and equipment are used correctly and maintained
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Work efficiently under pressure and within deadlines
Salary: Market related based on experience and qualifications
