STADIO Higher Education invites applications for a Module Coordinator/Lecturer responsible for Education Leadership, Management and Change: Theoretical Perspectives, Research in Education. This role includes study material development, assessment design, learning journey refinement and postgraduate supervision.

The position also covers LMS course environment design, live online sessions, and ongoing research activities aligned with higher education pedagogy and instructional design.

Responsabilidades

• Study material development: Oversee and manage the development or review of study guides (full or wrap-around)
• Study material development: Seek feedback from all stakeholders and keep a record of required changes to study guides in anticipation of the review cycle
• Study material development: Monitor the appropriateness of the prescribed textbook and editions
• Study material development: Ensure continued alignment between study guide and textbook, where applicable
• Study material development: Update study guides to cater for new textbook editions
• Assessment: Draft all formal assessments for allocated modules
• Assessment: Consider internal and external pre-moderation feedback and implement changes as required
• Assessment: Conduct internal pre-moderation for modules in field of expertise
• Assessment: Brief markers and moderators, and provide content support during the marking process
• Assessment: Mark a prescribed minimum number of assessments (+- 3) to fine tune marking guideline/memorandum
• Assessment: Consider markers’ reports and decide on appropriate action
• Assessment: Consider moderators’ reports and decide on appropriate action, in consultation with programme coordinator, Discipline Leader, and Head of School
• Assessment: Sign off on assessment results
• Assessment: Actively participate in the investigation/management of modules with continuously low pass rates
• Learning journey design: Attend both internal and external training sessions, workshops, and conferences to enhance skills in module design and assessment
• Learning journey design: Actively collaborate with discipline leader and programme coordinator to continuously enhance the learning journey
• LMS course environment: Design and draft materials needed for the course environment (announcements, etc.)
• LMS course environment: Populate and maintain the course environment for modules owned
• Learning and student support: Invite guest speakers to enrich modules and host three live online sessions per semester to support student understanding and engagement
• Learning and student support: Draft additional support materials for students for difficult modules
• Postgraduate supervision: Supervise honour’s and master's research to completion
• Postgraduate supervision: Review research proposals and support ethics applications
• Postgraduate supervision: Nominate and liaise with internal and external examiners
• Postgraduate supervision: Participate in postgraduate research committee processes
• Research and professional development: Conduct research in the field of expertise and/or learning design in the field of expertise
• Research and professional development: Stay informed about emerging trends in higher education and instructional methodologies
• Research and professional development: Engage with industry, professional networks and associations to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing
