FROGG Recruitment SA seeks a Tracking Technician for our client in Kempton Park, near OR Tambo Airport. You will install and support advanced vehicle tracking, telematics, and camera systems across diverse fleets.

You must have strong automotive electrical knowledge, CANBUS expertise, and willingness to travel Gauteng. MDVR and dashcam installations, plus safe, quality-focused workmanship, are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of active experience in vehicle tracking and telematics.
• Deep knowledge of automotive electrical systems, including relays and power/ignition sources.
• CANBUS integration experience.
• MDVR and camera/dashcam installation experience.
• Valid South African driver’s license with at least 3 years of active driving experience.
• Willingness to travel frequently to client sites and outlying areas.
• Must reside within commuting distance to OR Tambo Airport area.
• Ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot tracking, fleet management, and telematics systems.
• Ensure wiring is secure, hidden, and meets safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Install and service vehicle tracking and telematics systems.
• Perform CANBUS wiring integration and system diagnostics.
• Fit MDVR and vehicle camera/dashcam systems.
• Travel to client sites around Gauteng for onsite installations.
• Ensure installations meet safety and warranty requirements.
