Job summary

Standard Bank Group is seeking a software engineer to design, code, test, debug and maintain programs in development environments. You will apply standards to achieve well-engineered results and work within a framework of programming standards under supervision of senior technical resources.

Required is a first degree in IT with 5–7 years (8–10 years preferred) and broad IT engineering experience, including DevOps and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• First Degree in Information Technology is required.
• 5–7 years of experience in software engineering; 8–10 years with broader IT engineering exposure.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Proven experience with modern engineering practices (DevOps, Agile).
