Job summary

Valterra Platinum Limited in Rustenburg is seeking a Learning Advisor to support the Section Manager Learning Delivery, ensuring regulatory compliance and strategic management of training programs to elevate safety and operational capability.

You will coordinate safety training, develop materials with technical experts, manage training logistics, and contribute to talent development while promoting diversity and inclusion across the mining operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years in relevant role with learning experience
• Experience in mining or heavy industry is advantageous
• Strong understanding of SA labor laws and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety training programs to regulatory standards
• Collaborate with safety officers and operations to keep materials up-to-date
• Support safety campaigns to promote safety excellence
• Manage logistics: scheduling, venues, enrolment
• Develop and maintain training materials and digital resources
• Facilitate trainings with subject-matter experts
• Provide admin support for performance management and competency assessments
• Serve as a point of contact for training inquiries and logistics
• Assist in talent development initiatives and leadership programs
• Support diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives in training
• Ensure regulatory compliance documentation and audit readiness
• Stay informed on legislation and industry standards related to training
