Job summary

GIBB Mining & Power, a subsidiary of the GIBB Group, is seeking a Head of Mining to lead the delivery unit, oversee project governance, and drive growth across the portfolio of mining projects.

Reporting to the Managing Director Mining and Power, the HOM will manage people, commercial risk and client relationships, mentor project executives and ensure delivery excellence across NEC, FIDIC and GCC contract forms in traditional risk-managed programs.

Responsibilities

• Align PM strategy with organisational goals and execute project management plans.
• Lead and mature the PM practice across the organisation.
• Improve maturity of delivery systems and monitor performance.
• Mitigate project delivery risk through liaison with PMs and clients.
• Ensure compliance with SHERQ standards during project delivery.
• Grow business through client relationships and opportunities.
• Manage joint venture agreements and non-standard terms.
