GIBB Mining & Power, a subsidiary of the GIBB Group, is seeking a Head of Mining to lead the delivery unit, oversee project governance, and drive growth across the portfolio of mining projects.
Reporting to the Managing Director Mining and Power, the HOM will manage people, commercial risk and client relationships, mentor project executives and ensure delivery excellence across NEC, FIDIC and GCC contract forms in traditional risk-managed programs.

GIBB Mining & Power is a multi-disciplinary engineering design and project management enterprise, specialising in innovative and sustainable techno-economic holistic solutions for mining projects, from concept stage, to commissioning and handover within the NEC, FIDIC and GCC forms of contract in traditional staged risk managed and ringfenced risk procurement modalities such as DnC, EPCM, EPC and EPC+f. Depending on the clients preference, we will also perform PMC, and Owners Engineer and Independent Engineer roles for assignments in agreed jurisdictions.

The Head of Mining (HOM), reporting to the Managing Director Mining and Power, is responsible for people management, overall project commercial management and governance of the GIBB MEP (Mining and Power) portfolio of projects. This includes the oversight on execution, commercial risk management and optimal use of resources within the company. In addition, the HOM will ensure growth and success of the Delivery Unit (DU) through effective business development, which includes maintaining current and growing new client relationships, identifying and actioning new opportunities, tender/deal flow management and improving client satisfaction.
