Job summary

Ikwezi Mining seeks a capable Civil Engineering Supervisor to oversee construction, maintenance and infrastructure across the mine. You will ensure safe, efficient work aligned with approved designs and mine standards, coordinating with contractors and internal teams to deliver on schedule and within budget.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree or diploma, 5+ years in mining, 2–3 years supervisory experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' civil engineering experience in mining.
• 2–3 years' supervisory experience.
• Experience managing civil contractors and construction teams.
• Valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil construction and maintenance projects across the mine.
• Plan and coordinate daily civil engineering activities and resources.
• Supervise contractors and on-site civil teams.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, designs and quality standards.
• Monitor progress against schedules and identify delays.
• Inspect ongoing work for compliance with standards and drawings.
• Coordinate earthworks, roads, drainage and mine infrastructure.
• Provide regular progress reports to Engineering Manager.
