Job summary

Buraaq Mining is seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Plater to join our on-site fabrication and installation team. You will perform welding, cutting, grinding and assembly of prefabricated parts to precise specifications.

The role requires 3-5 years in mining operations, ability to read drawings, and a valid trade certificate. You will train engineering learners and contribute to safe procedures while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in Mining Operations.
• Trade Certificate in Boilermaker/Plater.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Flexibility, willingness to travel, work away from home.
• Medically fit and own transport.
• Relevant experience in a mining or chemical environment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, cut, grind, and weld components.
• Manufacture and install prefabricated work pieces.
• Store equipment according to established procedures.
• Assist in developing work procedures and risk assessments.
• Provide on-the-job training to engineering learners.
