JVR Software in Mpumalanga is seeking an underground mining worker to assist with drilling, support and site upkeep. This role emphasizes safety, physical fitness, and the ability to follow instructions. The team operates in challenging underground conditions and requires reliable, safety‑minded personnel.

Ideal candidates have Grade 10 or higher, 1–2 years underground experience (preferably platinum), and a valid Certificate of Fitness. Training may lead to advanced operator roles in time.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 or higher, or relevant underground experience.
• 1–2 years' underground experience, ideally in platinum mining.
• Physically fit and able to work in underground conditions.
• Valid Certificate of Fitness.

Responsabilités

• Assist with drilling, support installation, charging and cleaning as directed.
• Carry and set up tools, equipment and consumables.
• Help keep the working place clean, safe and in good order.
• Follow safety rules, and report hazards and incidents.
• Learn the tasks of the crew so you can take on more over time.

Minimum Requirements

Underground training certificates; experience in both conventional and trackless sections; a willingness to develop into an operator or Miner.
