Qualifications

Responsibilities

Design, operate, and optimize mineral processing circuits, including crushing, grinding, flotation, leaching, and smelting.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Mineral Processing Engineer to join their team in Pretoria. This role is central to optimizing the recovery and quality of valuable minerals from mined ore through efficient comminution, concentration, and recovery circuits. You will be responsible for process design, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize yield and minimize operational costs. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer passionate about hydrometallurgy and pyrometallurgy to make a significant impact on a major mining operation in Gauteng, contributing to sustainable and profitable mineral extraction.

Key Responsibilities

Design, operate, and optimize mineral processing circuits, including crushing, grinding, flotation, leaching, and smelting.
